Welcome to Emmy nominated "Destination Craft" with your host Jim West.

Emmy nominated Executive Producer and host Jim West, takes you around the world with beautiful scenery, funny moments and amazing destinations. Flute makers, sweet potatoes ice-cream, hanging out with bees to taste some honey, meeting an Italian mamma, tribal tattoos and much more.

Our host Jim West takes us to Zurich and Lucerne, Switzerland where we will meet a master beekeeper crafting sweet honey, learn the process of crafting and playing the Alphorn, visit a family who has been making cow bells for over one hundred years, travel high into the Swiss mountains where we’ll visit a family that makes authentic Swiss cheese, sew up the craft of bobbin lace making and sample the sweet delights of swiss chocolate. And from our Crafter’s Kitchen we’ll make a traditional “Cheese Fondue.”

Our host Jim West travels to Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley where we learn to make paper & clay masks, use our feet to create carved wooden objects, make Napali paper, visit a Buddhist Temple and see monks making a colorful sand mandala, and see the ancient craft of making singing bowls. And from our Crafter’s Kitchen we’ll join a woman’s empowerment group and make “Dal Bhat.”

Our host Jim West takes us to Vancouver, Canada and the surrounding area where we craft the perfect beer, craft the perfect maple syrup, learn to paint on canvas with a master artisan, join a master wood carver who takes totem poles to a new level, and enjoy the fascinating skills of a printmaker. We also see our host receive a lasting impression when we visit a Canadian tattoo artist. And from our Crafter’s Kitchen we’ll satisfy our appetites with a master chef who creates traditional “Canadian Grilled Salmon.”
